Here's how the ad exchange works. You sign up for free and after responding to the confirmation email you are directed to the member's area. Here you will be able to point the exchange system to your banner (have one ready) and then you'll be given a code to place on your web pages. For every three times you display a banner from the exchange network on your site(s), the network will display an ad of your choosing twice on the network in the category or categories and countries you have selected.  In addition to free membership and a good rate on your impressions the banner exchange will give you two thousand free banner impressions just for joining up and cutting and pasting the codes on your site(s).

MD Banner allows up to five banners in each of the 4 interchangeable sizes available and all working for you with a stats package that shows you which adverts are your best performers. JPG, GIF, PNG, HTML, Text and even Flash banners are all allowed, and email support is always available. An example of the 468 x 60 banner in action can be seen at the bottom of this page, but you may have banners in the following sizes: 728 x 90, 468 x 60, 125 x 125, and 120 x 60. For each banner size that has its own code placed on your site you get 500 credits for that size, for a total of 2000 free banner impressions. As an incentive to place your network ads in prominent locations, MD Banner will give you 5% of all impressions generated by your referrals. To get referrals, paste the banner links where they get good exposure on your site. When anyone clicks on the "Developers" link under any of the ads and signs up, they become your referral.
